I do love what I do, and I am so grateful to all the families that have hired and entrusted me to capture their most important people in their lives, young and old- and four legged ones too! ;)
I usually shoot both candid and posed images during family photo sessions. I like posing so that no one is forced into a pose, but rather guided into a position for enhancement, that should flatter, while telling a story. I always consider the relationships,bonds and emotions.
When viewing Beach Portraits in the future - I am sure that loved ones want to see less beach, more than the backs, or sides of the heads. They want to see faces in the beach pictures. I know I want to see the entire face and even body, if possible, of my children, as detailed and as sharp as possible with no fake skin colors. Only the truest, authentic skin tone is allowed on my loved ones!
I believe each image deserves to be custom edited, using no filters, so that only the authentic colors and flesh tones are presented in the final retouched images. I believe that these pure portraits- void of any trendy filters- are the images that will be cherished the most by future generations, and all the grandmothers and parents alike, even the grandpa's and uncles!!
